WHEN YOU BBQ ...
It's summer and BBQ season in many countries. If you barbecue, do not burn your food, as consuming burnt food is feeding your body with free radicals (oxidants) that can be harmful to your body.
If you BBQ, do eat fresh cucumbers with your barbecued food. Cucumber has alkaline-forming minerals and excellent anti-carcinogenic properties that help neutralize the free radicals from barbecued food.
Or, serve a super anti-carcinogenic drink that also helps reduce your body temperature in the summer heat:
- 2 green apples
- 1 cucumber
- 2 ribs celery
- ⅙ lemon
- A handful of mint leaves
- Some ice cubes (optional)
