Green tea has been receiving very positive media attention in recent years. While green tea has high antioxidants level and beneficial for the average person, it is not necessarily good for a certain group of people due to its high amount of tannins.

Tannin is a stimulant that may interfere with stress hormones, and inhibit absorption of minerals such as zinc and iron. Avoid drinking green tea if you are suffering from these conditions ...
Anemia, autoimmune diseases, asthma, allergies, digestive disorders, sinusitis, skin problems, adrenal fatigue and cancer. This list is not exhaustive but are the most common conditions.

Better option, tea with very low or no tannins: Chamomile and peppermint tea.
